Giraffe with Claude.

Giraffe is the organized place your Claude work lives. You research, compare and decide in Claude the way you already do — and keep the useful part in a project you can open any time, without scrolling back through old chats.

What it does for you in Claude

Claude is good at working something out with you: a decision, a plan, a set of facts that are true right now. The trouble starts later, when you need that conclusion again and it’s buried somewhere in a conversation you can’t quite find.

Giraffe keeps the conclusion instead of the chat. When you finish a piece of thinking, you ask Claude to save it to a Giraffe project — the decisions you made, what’s current, the questions still open. It becomes durable project knowledge you own, organized and ready to re-read, not one more thread to dig through.

Review without reopening the chat

Most of the time you don’t need Claude at all to get the value back. Open the Giraffe project and read where things stand: the current facts, the decisions, the open questions, and which conversation each piece came from. That’s the whole job on the day you’re preparing for a call, checking what you decided, or catching yourself up on something you left two weeks ago. If you want the fuller picture of how a project is built and kept current, see how Giraffe works.

Continue in Claude when you want to

When you do want to keep going, your project isn’t stuck. Pull it back into Claude and pick up from exactly where you landed, instead of re-explaining the whole history from scratch. Use Claude on its own, or alongside another assistant — either way, Giraffe stays the one place your work adds up.

Turn it on in Claude

Setup is a one-time thing you do in Claude’s settings. After that, saving to a project and reading it back are just things you ask Claude to do, in plain language. The exact steps are on the setup page.

What works today

Claude works with Giraffe today. If you also use ChatGPT, Giraffe works there too, on a paid plan with Developer mode on — see Giraffe with ChatGPT. Gemini isn’t supported yet, because its app doesn’t allow outside connections. We’d rather tell you what’s true than promise what isn’t.
